we will be doing more advanced practices on character constructions and starting to go into more detail Anime and Disney style characters.
The Classes are lead by Kevin is one of our esteemed instructors at Art for Life for Kids, he is a highly experienced professional in the field of animation, having over 36 years of expertise in both 2-D and 3-D animation . His passion for the craft shines through in his Saturday classes, where he imparts knowledge in drawing and portfolio preparation.
Throughout his illustrious career, Kevin has left his mark on numerous feature and TV productions, contributing to Emmy-nominated and Emmy award-winning TV shows for various North American companies. where he’s taken on roles as an animator, animation supervisor, and most recently, an animation director.
Some of Kevin’s recent projects include his Animation Supervision on “What If?” on Disney+, a Marvel animated TV show, as well as the movie “Nut Job 2,” where he worked internationally in Korea as Animation Supervisor. His latest endeavor as Animation Director is the HBO feature film titled “Charlotte’s Web.” His versatility also extends to video game animation on Games such as Fifa Street 1 and 2 for Electronic Arts in Vancouver.
In Kevin’s classes, he imparts essential drawing fundamentals, equipping students with the skills to draw anything from any angle. He is a proud graduate of Sheridan College’s esteemed Classical animation program and has also had the privilege of sharing his expertise at Sheridan College and with animation professionals in countries like Colombia, India, Taiwan, Korea, and of course Canada. Kevin’s dedication to nurturing young artistic talents makes him an invaluable asset to our program.
